Behold the layers upon layers of black lace! XD I really have no idea what I’m going to do with this skirt yet, but Jonah got it for me since I was waffling on it so much.
$12, Goodwill.

Probably the only pair of brown boots I currently own, mostly because I can’t find tall brown boots that fit and will work for the costumes I need them for.
It’s been so long since I got these, but I’ll just guess and say probably around $7, Goodwill.

Shiny boots make me happy, especially as they fit my calves with room to spare. ^-^

One can never have too many gloves.
Ones on the left are REALLY similar (but not quite there) to the Scout Trooper gloves, but the work required to mod them is more than I want to do, so they’ll be used for other costumes. $4, Goodwill
Ones on the right made me happy because holy-shit-long-leather-vintage-gloves-that-fit. Were still in their package when I found them. ^-^ I think they were about $4, Goodwill.

Not my size, but it’s great for hanging stuff from that I’m working on. ($6 - Goodwill)

Ok, I don’t really consider this so much a “score” as something nifty. And I actually bought it for Jonah, but I do still think it’s kinda cool to find things like this.
And only vaguely related, I’m looking forward to the Seattle World’s Fair 50th Anniversary stuff coming up.

Noble Team “statue” from the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach. Yes, Jun and Jorge are missing arms/weapons but I can deal with that. lol (Actually keeping my eye out for spare parts if anybody else happens to bust theirs.)

Cat ball toy (kitten not included, again). I really have no idea if there’s a proper name for those toys, but Bowie is the first cat I’ve ever had that actually loves playing with them. Like the cat scratcher we’d been looking at them in stores, but the one we really wanted to get (and still kinda do) is $18-$24. I’d been looking at just breaking down and buying one of the $8 ones from Petsmart, but found this at Goodwill just after we’d left the pet store.

Wine rack, totally not purchased for it’s intended purpose. It’s being used to store spray paint. (Yes, we have a LOT of spray paint. lol)

About:

Just a place for me to share the fun things I find at places like Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. Thrift store shopping has been something I've had to do my entire life, and even if I was a millionare I would still do it. Because who doesn't love a good deal?
